If it is not dried quickly, it can leave white stains. Moreover, if the water has reached a layer of wood, it can make the wood curving and peeling.

To prevent such an occurrence, give placemat under wet items such as glasses or vases. If there is any liquid has been spilled, absorb with a tissue or a dry cloth immediately, but do not rub it.

 

Secondly, avoid using water to clean up your wood furniture because it can scrape the wood paints. For the daily maintenance, just simple clean your furniture up with spoons or smooth cloth. Do not use dry cloth or quill because those stuff could scratch the furniture surface.

 

Third, to keep their display, try to clean them once in a few days. You can use some furniture polish in the market. These chemical materials come with few of varieties. There is a special one for glossy finishing, matt finishing, and some are given anti-UV coating for furniture that is placed outside. Purchase one that proper for what you need.

 

Fourth, Choose furniture finishing according to where you put them. Some furniture finishing cannot stand with direct sunlight.

 

Fifth, better to place furniture far from heater or AC. Moreover, do not put any too hot stuff or too cold stuff on your wood furniture. Differences in humidity can make cracks on certain parts.
